Hello Lovers!
I became a celebrant while searching for a side hustle that would let me indulge my love of weddings, my extensive wardrobe (fuelled by an op-shopping addiction), and the slightly outdated skill of having exceptionally neat handwriting.

When a close friend suggested I look into becoming a celebrant, I realised it ticked all those boxes—and then some. It meant hours of study, facing my fear of public speaking, and convincing the powers-that-be that I was a “fit and proper” person. But in 2019, I was officially authorised to get people hitched.

I’ve never been great at small talk. I’d much rather dive straight into the good stuff - especially when it comes to your wedding day. I genuinely love meeting couples and hearing their stories and then creating a bespoke that will leave your guests saying, 'that was so them!'

I know the booking of a celebrant can often come as an after thought - a "oh that's right, we've got to get someone there to make it legal" - and call me a bit biased, but believe me when I say that this gig is not as simple as it seems.
Whoever it is that you pass a microphone to on a wedding day has a BIG job ahead of them. Not only do they make you and your guests at ease, they run the show smoothly and efficiently, they interject a little well placed wit but read the room when the mood calls for otherwise. I am committed to creating ceremonies that aren't a tick-box before the main event, but a fun and memorable part of your day.
Whether you’re dreaming of a laid-back elopement or a big celebration with family and friends, I’ll work closely with you to craft a bespoke ceremony that feels completely you—warm, personal, and meaningful. By the time your big day arrives, I won’t feel like a stranger with a microphone.

I welcome couples from all walks of life, and my values are rooted in diversity and inclusivity. If you’re two consenting adults who want to spend your lives together, I’d love to help you get hitched!
One of the most valuable skills I bring to my role as a celebrant is my ability to stay calm under pressure—and share those chill vibes with anyone who needs them on the day. My job is to support you through the unexpected, help you stay present, and deliver a ceremony so authentic and warm that you won’t even notice the Canberra chill.
